I really enjoyed and got a lot of value out of my time with Robert – mostly his communication style and ability to pinpoint my internal barriers and then how to deal with them. I have been putting what I learnt into practice and enjoying the change! Highly recommend.

I found working with Rob to be excellent. He is very easy to work with and I always found him to be calm, personable, upbeat & positive and professional. He helped me work through & map out key strengths, in terms of career history, and he coached me through interviewing skills, as an interviewee, rather than an interviewer.
He has a deep understanding of the pitfalls and the power of story telling to highlight strengths. We finished up with a mock interview scenario that pulled together all the learnings, which I found very helpful.

When I first met with Rob of Future U Coaching I was burnt out, anxious about work and ready to leave my job without a plan B. After an initial meeting, Rob qualified whether we were a good fit for coaching/mentoring and quickly determined the areas of my professional life that were the highest priority going forward.

The first phase of our coaching was to stabilize my current professional situation which involved conflict resolution strategies, managing ownership of workplace issues and strategies for decompression. The second phase was to identify leadership opportunities to lead the team away from conflict and have a positive impact on workplace culture. During this time we identified and aligned my leadership style with my core values resulting in a value driven and purposeful approach to leading in the workplace.

Through this process I was promoted to a senior role within the team and established myself as an advisor to other teams within the business on best practices, building relationships with clients and maintaining workplace culture. In finding confidence in my values and leadership within the business, opportunities opened up through my network, which again had grown due to the changes to my work life through Rob’s coaching.

This created an opportunity to pursue and land a role with a business that aligned with my values, is a step up in the industry from my previous role and presented greater opportunities for growth, development and career progress. Through Rob’s coaching, I’ve been able to stop my professional life from impacting who I am and learnt about the many ways that who I am can impact my professional life. For career coaching and mentorship, I couldn’t recommend Rob more highly.

Great coaching session with Rob on interview skills. I took advantage of Rob’s new course which covered everything from how to mentally prepare yourself, a recorded practice session and a feedback.
